Middletown -DE- Alumnae Deltas - Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
- Chartered April 27, 2014
- Chapter of the Year (small) 2022, 2023 and 2024
- Committed to SERVE

Delta Sigma Theta is an international public service sorority, dedicated to a program of sharing membership skills and organizational services in the public interest. The Middletown (DE) Alumnae Chapter was chartered on April 27, 2014 by 26 talented and visionary women. All of these women had already accepted an active responsibility and commitment to making their community a better place in which

to live. Therefore, it was perhaps prophetic that these women, who already had a common bond, would decide to come together as a unified force and tackle issues of the citizens of the Middletown, Odessa, Townsend and Delaware City areas. Middletown (DE) Alumnae Chapter was the sixth chapter of Delta Sigma Theta established in the state of Delaware. As we continue to grow, we stay focused on our mission of sisterhood, scholarship and service, committing to staying the course as agents of change. For additional information please contact the chapter at [email protected].

Stronger Together.

Our Chapter President, Joy Hunt, was honored to represent Middletown (DE) Alumnae at the Divine Nine Presidents Roundtable hosted by Lt. Governor Kyle Evans Gay. The discussion focused on healthcare, education, civic engagement, and strengthening communities across Delaware.

The conversation reinforced the power of collaboration and the impact we can make when leaders come together in service. We look forward to continuing these partnerships and advancing meaningful change throughout our communities.

We extend our sincere thanks to Lt. Governor Kyle Evans Gay for convening the Divine Nine Presidents Roundtable.
