We have 2 dogs representing Hudson Valley Rottie Rescue
Denali is our ovchaka/rottweiler mix and Chubby is our Pit/husky/rottie mix laying on the deck, he has issues and will be a lifer in our rescue.

Jaxon is a 5 year old male rottie. He is neutered. Good with female dogs but meet and greet must be done. Never been around other cats. Not the best with small children although with some dedicated training, he may do just fine. He has the best recall of any dog I've ever had so he's great off leash. Definitely a goofy rottie but very protective of his home. Has never bitten anyone. Up to date on all shots.

A week ago we posted about our girl pumpkin, she was in foster to adopt and they never adopted her but instead returned her saying that she bit the brother in his face. Unfortunately we donot believe pumpkin would do such a thing as shes a very sweet small framed rottie that never showed signs of any type of aggression. Foster said the whole time she was great in the home.
Pumpkin was given to the supposed adopter healthy, clear on 4dx, microchipped, spayed and no medical issues.
When Pumpkin was returned 8 months later she was returned skinny, and limping on her back left leg. Foster admitted to not giving her any flea and tick meds because that was a question we asked.
We started off by taking her to guardian vet er in middletown, there she was diagnosed with lyme and anaplasmosis. We started her on doxycycline hoping the limp was from the lyme.
Unfortunately we were told today by the orthopedic Dr. Hart that her cruciate was badly torn. Attached are the clinical reports and the cost of 3,700.00 to repair the knee.

We can use all the help we can get to fix poor Pumpkin. We have no perfect dogs to adopt out, all our dogs have certain issues that no one wants. There is no money flow here.

MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED NEAR MIDDLETOWN NY
We were called by a shelter in NJ
They took Ralph in as a stray. Ralph is in pretty bad shape but also the shelter had entropian surgery done. More tests need to be done on Ralph. He needs a quiet home which could possibly be a hospice situation . If anyone can help us help Ralph and get him out of this stressful situation, please message or email us at [email protected]

UPDATE... WE HAVE A FOSTER

We need a foster asap to help this young girl.

This is Penelope! She is a very sweet and gentle 11-month old female rottweiler. She is fully vaccinated (will provide medical documentation), up to date on all shots, potty trained, leash trained, crate trained, and spayed. She knows all of the basic commands: sit, come, stop, etc.

Penelope is very affectionate and cuddly. She gets along well with other dogs (of all sizes) and kids. She is very healthy with no known health issues.

Her owner got a job that requires extensive travel, and he no longer has the time to care for Penelope.
