Below is a bio written by Jaxx's owners.
This is breaking their hearts but they have to do what's best for him and not them. If you are interested we will be asking you to fill out our application so that we may do our thing to make sure your the right fit for Jaxx, then we will put you in touch as the owner will want to speak to you.

💔 With very heavy hearts, we are looking for the right home for our boy, Jaxx. 💔
Jaxx is our 2-year-old Rottweiler, and making the decision to find him a new home has been incredibly difficult for us. He is not “just a dog.” He is a beloved part of our family, and we love him deeply. This is not something we are doing because we don’t want him or because we don’t care about him. Quite the opposite.
We love him enough to recognize that he deserves a home that can keep up with everything he needs.
Jaxx is an absolute love bug. ❤️ He is affectionate, playful, goofy, loyal, and full of personality. He loves attention and wants to be close to his people. When he loves you, he loves you with his whole heart.
But Jaxx is also a lot of dog.
At only 2 years old, he is young, energetic, and incredibly strong. As much as we love him, we have to be honest about what we can safely manage as we get older. At 64 and 73 years old, his strength and energy have become increasingly difficult for us to handle the way a young Rottweiler needs to be handled.
This isn’t Jaxx’s fault. And it isn’t because he is a bad dog.
He simply needs more than we are able to safely give him at this point in our lives.
🏠 Jaxx MUST be the only dog in the home.
We are looking for someone who:
🐾 Has experience with Rottweilers or other large, powerful breeds
🐾 Is physically strong and confident enough to safely handle him
🐾 Understands the responsibility of owning a Rottweiler
🐾 Can provide plenty of exercise, attention, structure, and mental stimulation
🐾 Is patient, consistent, and willing to continue working with him
🐾 Has a stable home and the ability to make a lifelong commitment
🐾 Does not have other dogs in the household
We don’t want someone to see Jaxx’s picture and simply think, “He’s beautiful, I’ll take him.”
We want someone who understands what it means to own a young Rottweiler and is prepared for all of him—his size, his strength, his energy, his personality, and most importantly, his enormous heart.
We know this decision may be difficult for people to understand, but sometimes loving an animal means putting their needs ahead of our own. We would rather make the painful decision to find Jaxx a better-suited home than wait until circumstances force a decision on us.
We are going to be extremely selective about where he goes. We will ask questions about your experience, your home, your lifestyle, and what you can provide for him.
We aren’t looking for just any home.
We’re looking for Jaxx’s forever home. ❤️
If you are an experienced Rottweiler owner or have significant experience with large, strong breeds and genuinely believe you could give Jaxx the life he deserves, then please fill out the rescues application as they are trying to help Jaxx and myself and my wife.
We are hoping the right person is out there somewhere—a person who will love Jaxx as much as we do and give him the happy, active, safe, and loving life he deserves. 🐾❤️
