💔 She didn’t run away from danger… she ran toward it.

Fourteen-year-old Aamina Bradley saw her 9-year-old cousin fall into the Detroit River during a family graduation party.

Without hesitation…

She jumped in to save her.

Her cousin made it out alive.

Aamina didn’t.

Her father, Glenn Bradley, rushed into the river after hearing the words no parent should ever hear:

“Dad… help me.”

He fought with everything he had, but the powerful current pulled his daughter beneath the water. Others had to rescue him as well.

Now a family is left mourning a young girl who dreamed of becoming a scientist, loved spending time with her family, and was known for her beautiful smile and even more beautiful heart.

Her father called her his warrior.

And that’s exactly who she was.

Aamina’s final act wasn’t one of fear—it was one of courage and love. She gave everything trying to save someone else.
