Middletown Area Neediest Youth - MANY

Middletown Area Neediest Youth - MANY MANY is a local effort to help needy students stay in school. Voluntary, tax-deductible contribution Our schools and volunteers do what paperwork is needed.

Students in need are identified by teachers, principals, school nurses, and others in daily contact at Edgewood, Madison, Monroe, Middletown, Fenwick, John XXIII, Middletown Christian, Marshall High School, and Summit Academy as well as summer school students and students attending vocational arts schools. Their needs can be for pants, slacks, sweaters, blouses, shirts, sweat shirts, socks and und

erwear, also shoes, boots, gloves, coats and jackets. Most of us take these things for granted, but often the lack of such items means a child cannot attend school. Every nickel of your contribution to MANY goes to clothe students. There are no campaign expenses, not even mailing or printing, and no solicitors will call. No salaried are paid by MANY. Officers and Trustees contribute their time and talent. Nor is money given to individuals in need - instead, vouchers are issued to local merchants in the amount of the clothing items a student needs. After the item is purchased, the merchant is paid by MANY for the funds contributed to MANY. The Internal Revenue Service has approved all gifts to MANY as deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions for MANY may be mailed directly to our Treasurer:
