Art Studio 4:10 Art Studio 4:10 - Creative Kids Changing Communities Art Studio 4:10 officially became a non-profit organization under the parent company Ascend Inc. in 2015.

Art Studio 4:10 (non-profit) and Art Studio 4:10 Academy (art classes) provides art programs for children of all ages, physical, and cognitive abilities. Programs and classes are taught by Jen Easterday. In addition to being a life- long artist, Jen has been a registered nurse for 16 years and has extensive experience working with children and adults with chronic illnesses, physical and cognitiv

e disabilities. Art studio 4:10 Academy students actively support community activities of Art Studio 4:10 by volunteering for organizations in the community... especially those that provide services for adults and children with special needs. Modeled after 1 Peter 4:10, our annual charity art auction gives all of our students and friends opportunities to use their gifts to serve the community by selling their art to support local children's charities and The Boys and Girls Christian Home in India. Past local recipients include Child Inc., Delaware Hospice Camp New Hope, Urban Promise, The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware (art scholarship), The Miracle League of Bear Babe Ruth, and Kay's Oncology Camp, The Blind Sports Association and Joy for the Journey Ministries.

Our Mixed Media Art Class is going 3D 🤩 We will be making sculptures in our next two-class series!

Individuals with Down syndrome ages 15+ are invited to join us on Sunday, February 8 & Sunday, March 8 from 3:00–4:30 PM in Middletown to complete a sculpture project.

It’s one sign-up form for both dates, and participants are expected to attend both classes to finish their artworks.

Our mood heading into October: colorful 🎨… because we’re starting the month off with our first Mixed Media Art Class! Individuals with Down syndrome ages 15+ are invited to express their creative side with us on Sunday, October 5 from 3:00-4:30 PM in Middletown.

Your instructor: the wonderful Jen Easterday, who has been a trusted supporter of the DSA of DE for over 10 years and has worked with many of our individuals with Down syndrome. With Jen at the lead, this class is sure to be fun, lively, and engaging.

LOCATION: 108 Patriot Drive, Suite A, Middletown, DE 19709 (across from First State Brewery). Caregivers are encouraged to drop off or wait—whatever works best!
