Moving for Melanoma of Delaware We GIVE where we LIVE !! Moving for Melanoma of Delaware was created by the vision of Michelle Lynn Rigney and Anna Marie Farro.

Michelle and Anna met while going through cancer treatment and through their passion decided to turn something good of a bad situation. In 2007, together they founded Miles for Melnaoma of Delaware. Recruiting family, friends, other Melanoma survivors and caregivers, Miles for Melanoma of Delaware was formed. Sadly, Michelle lost her battle with melanoma on June 17, 2008. During the 2008 and 2009

events, the committee raised more over $110,000 and was able to establish a grant in Michelle’s honor via the donation made to the MRF. Our efforts continue as we remember Michelle and all others who have suffered and lost due to this terrible disease.

Team JVT commemorated their 10th Walk by reuniting at the Tyrol home in NJ on Sat.,Sept. 30. They walked 3.5 miles around the neighborhood roads that Jessica loved to run.

Special thanks from M4MDE for being the top fundraising team every year. For 2021 they raised almost $9000. 😀
