The Middletown Prevention Coalition encourages a fun and safe prom season, reminding students and parents to make smart choices and avoid underage drinking.

MPC stresses that allowing teens to drink or use cannabis at home is not safer and is illegal, and highlights that prom season sees a spike in alcohol‑related teen traffic deaths.

Parents are urged to talk openly with their teens about the risks, set clear expectations and consequences, and know their teens’ plans before and after prom!
