Her name is Myah and she is my daughter, my baby, my Poodie-girl, my Mukka, my everything! She is the strongest, most courageous, and loving person I know. She has had to fight for her life - most of her life, starting with the diagnosis of diabetes at the age of 9.

Now, at the age of 29, she has had just as many, (if not more than 29), medical diagnosis. Yet, she is still here! She is still fighting with every fiber of her being. And up until the evening of December 18, 2023, she was still giving God the glory, the honor and the praise, for her very life.

Since then, she has not spoken a single word, as she has been in a coma, but I imagine that her spirit communes with God daily. The presence of God has always been where she found the most peace. To know Myah is truly to love her. Even while she has been non-responsive, doctors and nurses will often comment and say things like, "there is something about her...," "God is not finished with her...," "God is going to perform a miracle..."

Many of them recognize the Anointing and the Power of God on her life. That is a testament to all of the prayers prayed over her, even from birth, and her willingness to make Jesus Christ LORD of her life!

I cannot be prouder of her than I am right now. Keep fighting Myah Brashelle Bost! We all love you so much, but God loves you more!

Hi there, I wanted to give a quick update on Myah's condition and progress. As many of you know, Myah suffered a brain injury on December 18th. It was completely unexpected. I cannot tell you how absolutely devastating this has been. Exactly 30 days after we celebrated her 29th birthday, we experienced this tragedy! This happened primarily as a result of a re-occurring lung infection and her inability to breathe. This was the last thing that needed to be resolved before she could get to kidney transplant. None of the local doctors were able to figure this out for us so I had scheduled her to see doctors at Cleveland Clinic in early January to finally get the answers we needed. Unfortunately, she did not make it to Cleveland Clinic before this happened.

I have no idea what God has in store for her. All I know is, when I prayed and asked God to help me understand this, to show me what to do and how to move forward from this, He answered me with two words -- those were, "Medical Marvel." Oftentimes, God does not fill in the blanks when and how we would like Him too. However, what I know about God is that He is faithful, even when we are not. I continue to hold onto this word, and we will trust Him to fill in the rest, in His timing!

In the meantime, I would like to thank the many people at Miami Valley Hospital that made our stay bearable. Priscah, Larissa, Jaime, Brandon, Doug, Clista, Nadesh, Catherine, Kelli, Brooklyn, Jai, Fatima, Greg, Melissa, Quierra, Ms. Gertha, Aunt Candy, Dorothy, Stacy, Debra Ann, Kenny, Jimmy, Dr. Thompson, and Dr. Pope. I am sure I have missed someone. If I missed your name, please know that I did not miss your kindness, your patience and your generosity!

We are now headed from Dayton to Cincinnati to start rehab. Please keep Myah lifted in your prayers that she continues to fight and that she ultimately wins! Keep us, as her family, in prayer as well that we will not faint, but keep pressing forward through Christ Jesus!

Thanks for everything!

Update: As many of you are now aware, Myah had a medical setback in December, so it will be a while before we can reconsider transplant. In the meantime, we need your help to keep us moving forward as she fights to regain her health. With that said, we will suspend the Help Hope Live fundraising campaign to get her to kidney transplant for now. However, we will continue to accept donations using her GoFundMe account.

This will allow us immediate access to funding so that we can continue to provide support for her during her current and extended hospitalization. Myah has been hospitalized since December 18, 2023. We anticipate that she will be hospitalized for a few more weeks.

We will resume Help, Hope, Live fundraising for her transplant in the future, as appropriate. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and who continue to support us on this journey. We love you all more than words could express.
