Spring Into Summer 5K Race Spring Into Summer 5K Race - Saturday May 17, 2025 In addition to the 5K race on a certified course, we offer a one mile open run and kids races.

The Spring into Summer 5K is a community event which offers something for both the competitive runner and for families. Other highlights include a post race BBQ, awards, raffles and music.

Hi All! After over 20 years, last year was the final Spring Into Summer 5k race. The race committee would like to thank all of the sponsors who generously supported and donated to this event over the years. We also appreciate all of the vendors who made this event possible. We have thoroughly enjoyed organizing this race for the community and will miss the joy it brought to our participants.

TOMORROW IS THE B I G DAY! Our 21st Annual Spring Into Summer 5k is going to be amazing!

Here’s everything you need to know :

Today, Friday 5/16 Bib & Swag Bag Pick-Up (Highly Encouraged) 3-3:30pm and 6-7:30pm. Walk-up registrations welcome, cash only.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 5/17 RACE DAY!
Plan to arrive early - the Middletown Police Department will be closing all roads at 7:45 AM sharp for the start of the 1-Mile Fun Run.

Race Day Timeline
6:30 AM – Race day packet pick-up begins. Walk-up registrations welcome, cash only

7:55 AM – High energy group warm-up led by SETS of Middletown

8:05 AM – National Anthem 🇺🇸 🎶

8:10 AM – 1-Mile Fun Run begins 🏃

8:30 AM – 5K Start 🏃🏾‍♂️

9:30 AM – Awards Ceremony (for 5K & 1-Mile) at the track 🥇

10:00 AM – Kids Races (ages 4–12) on the track 🧒🏼

Post-Race Celebration: 🎉

Three cheers for Belford Brewing Company. Not only are they long-time sponsors of the Spring Into Summer 5k, they also host our official after-party and provide 5k race participants 21+ with a complimentary beer token. Cheers to that! 🍻

Belford Brewery will open early on Saturday at 10:00am and will have the traditional drink of the party - Cherry Tree Farm Wit. They are just a hop, skip and a jump away from the finish line, located at 84 Leonardville Rd in Belford. See you there!

Middletown’s 21st annual Spring Into Summer 5k is just 3 D A Y S A W A Y! We are beyond excited, and hope you will join us THIS Saturday, May 17th, for our milestone event! Online registrations close tonight, 5/14 @ 11:59 p.m. Walk-up registrations (cash or Venmo only) are available at the race tent: 6-7:30pm, Sat 6:30-8am.

Here’s a rundown of what’s to come:

🏃 5K Run/Walk & One-Mile Race on a certified 5k, flat course.
🧒 Kids’ Races (Ages 4-12)
🎶 Music & Prizes: Tunes to keep your spirits high and prizes that make it all worthwhile.

Not only are they a bronze sponsor of the Spring Into Summer 5k, they are also generously donating fresh bagels for our runners! Gem's House of Bagels have been in the bagel business for over 30 years. Their bagels are made fresh daily and onsite. With several locations throughout Middletown and beyond, they know a good bagel and happily serve the community just like they would family.
