Today is opening day of football!! Meet the guy behind it, Kyle Cook! 🏈
Kyle Cook is entering his second season as the Director of MVAA Football. Born and raised in Texas, Kyle grew up in a community where football was at the heart of community engagement and town pride. He is passionate about continuing the strong tradition MVAA Football has built while expanding its positive impact throughout the Middletown community.
Kyle served in the U.S. Army from 2012 to 2017, and brings the discipline, teamwork, and commitment he developed through his military service to the teams he coaches. Kyle and his family moved to Middletown in 2020, and since then, he has been actively involved in coaching both baseball and football through MVAA. His three children are also involved in multiple sports within MVAA.
MVAA Football is a program built on pride and tradition. We are committed to teaching the game safely while also developing discipline, intelligence, and focus both on and off the field. We strive to prepare our players to succeed at the next level and continue building a strong pipeline of athletes who can help keep Middletown competitive for state championships at the high school level.
Beyond football, our program emphasizes community involvement, character, sportsmanship, and being positive role models both on and off the field.
This season, MVAA Football is experiencing record participation, with more players than we have seen in many years. That growth is creating stronger teams throughout the program, and we are excited about what the future holds.
We are especially hopeful that one of our Middletown teams will have the opportunity to compete in the Super Bowl that Middletown will host on November 21st.
Please come out to support our players and watch them give it their all this season!
