Today the Middletown Lions Club hosted the club level of the MD4 Lions Student Speaking Contest. This year the Speaking topic was "Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Well-Being". High school students My Ngugen, Isabella Barns, and Tabitha Canchula all did a great job!

Congratulations to Isabella on winning the club level contest. She will go on and compete at the zone level (county) in March!

SEE'S CANDIES NOW AT HARDESTER'S

See's Famous Candies are available for purchase at Hardester's Market in Middletown for the holidays! This is a fundraiser for your local Middletown Lions Club. The candy sale supports our Senior Scholarships for Middletown High School students. In 2025, the candy sale funded $5,000.00 to award to MHS Class of 2025 graduates.

These See's Candy favorites are expected sell out, so grab your favorite treats and help support our kids too. Thank you to Hardester's for allowing our presence in their store!

November 16 marked our annual Middletown Lions Club Turkey Shoot, which saw a record-breaking attendance this year. At the event's peak, we had nearly eighty-five individuals in attendance, comprising both spectators and participants. Winners received prizes including turkeys, hams, cases, and the grand prize of a beautiful prime rib. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our Turkey Shoot.

November Trap Shoot for Turkeys!

UPDATED INFO--

The November Middletown Lions Club Trap Shoot is Sunday, November 16, 2025. This special event is our annual Turkey Shoot! No, we won't be shooting AT turkeys, we will be competing to WIN turkeys and other fun prizes!

THIS JUST IN: Lunch will include Carnitas by Lion Rick and friends! Shooters will be competing for Turkeys and Hams! Other cool shooting accessories will also be awarded.

Registration begins at 8:30 am. Shoot starts at 9:00 am.

Entry fee is $5.00 per shoot per person. The Trap Shoot is located on CA-29 between Middletown and Hidden Valley Lake.
