On the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, we’re celebrating the history, longevity, and beauty of Monmouth County with "Red, Wild, and Blooms," a themed look at some of the flowers, wildlife, and natural wonders found in our region that feel extra celebratory this month.
MCF would also like to recognize the farmers, land managers, and citizens who champion the preservation of our landscapes and history, as well as the Native communities who were, and continue to be, our country’s original conservationists. These enduring relationships with the land remind us that protecting natural resources is a responsibility shared across generations.
While patriotic when grouped together, red, white, and blue colors make up only some of the beautiful hues that surround us in nature. Biodiversity, and all the spectacular colors that come with it, are worth celebrating all year long! Happy 250th from Monmouth Conservation Foundation. 🇺🇲
