The Middletown Athletic Club (MAC), located in Middletown, Delaware was formed in 2002 by several local, long-time runners, to promote running as a social, recreational and competitive activity. Whether you are new to running or a seasoned competitor, youth athlete or Master, run for health and fitness or train to race a marathon, MAC offers something for everyone. You’ll find someone with whom yo

u can relate among our members. MAC sponsors weekly club runs for runners of all paces and goals, as well as several running-related social events and races each year. The biggest, the Premier Physical Therapy Peach Festival 5k held in mid-August, draws 250+ runners each year and includes a kiddie 1k. As a non-for-profit organization, proceeds from MAC-related dues and events are used to support the local school district’s athletic scholarship funds. And, of course, MAC is a great way to join your neighbors and enjoy the simple sport of running
