Yesterday Comptroller Sean Scanlon hosted a press conference about the expansion of the paraeducator health insurance subsidy plan that will assist over 6,000 paras with co-payments. Our paras - the backbone of our schools - testified and wrote to their legislators in support of this needed lifeline.
