Are you interested in taking music lessons but don't want to commit to a regular schedule? Do you already take lessons but want to dive a little deeper on things like improvisation, theory, rhythm, and more? You are in luck! Introducing Karen's Office Hour!

Karen's Office Hour will take place on Saturdays (starting May 16th) between 3-4pm at Middlesex Music Academy (440 Main Street, Middletown, CT).

You may be thinking to yourself, "How do I take part in this extravaganza of knowledge?" The answer is simple:

Make a donation to Every Note Counts, so that a kid in need can take music lessons! Your donation is tax-deductible and 100% of it goes towards music lessons. I am asking for a minimum donation of $35 per half hour or $70 for a full hour. (You can certainly donate more.) Just reach out to me, show me the donation receipt, and we can arrange for you to come to an office hour.

Not local? That's okay. You can come to an office hour over Zoom. While my specialty is stringed, fretted instruments, the concepts of music are universal, so it really doesn't matter what instrument you play. I can also give you listening examples to expand your musical palette. If you need practice jamming, we can jam. It's really just about sharing the knowledge and joy of music for a good cause.

Hi everyone! We are having a fundraiser concert for Every Note Counts on December 15th at Middlesex Music Academy. Tickets are $50 and all the proceeds go to funding music lessons for kids in need.
