✨ Congratulations to Chippewa Valley Electric Cooperative lineworkers Trevin Jensen and Quentin Muska, recipients of the 2026 WECA Cooperative Hero Award!

While assisting Central Wisconsin Electric Cooperative with power restoration following a historic spring ice storm, the two quickly put their safety training into action when a fellow lineworker suffered a serious injury.

The WECA Cooperative Hero Award recognizes electric cooperative employees who go above and beyond to help others, demonstrating extraordinary courage, compassion and a commitment to the cooperative spirit.

Trevin and Quentin will be formally recognized at WECA’s Annual Meeting on Nov. 11. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved honor!

Wisconsin electric cooperative member services and communications professionals gathered in Madison this week for the Member Services Association and the Communications Power Conferences. Attendees exchanged ideas and explored topics ranging from member engagement and difficult conversations to social media, AI, and affordability messaging all aimed at helping them becoming stronger communicators. The two-day gathering also included tours of the WECA and RESCO facilities and plenty of opportunities to network and share ideas.
