Capital City Theatre MADISON'S STAGE FOR PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL THEATRE & EDUCATION Capital City Theatre is Madison, Wisconsin's professional, Equity, musical theatre company.

We produce professional and engaging live musical theatre performances, concerts and readings and educate aspiring and working musical theatre artists through our workshops, intensives and seminars. We strive to inspire audiences by connecting them with talented performers from both the Madison area and from across the country, creating an experience that keeps audiences coming back again and again. We believe our audiences, donors and artists desire a high quality, professional, musical theatre company that calls Madison home. Our mission is to provide a level of professionalism and production quality on par with other nationally recognized regional theaters while working in co-operation with the non-professional musical theatres already in existence in Madison to cultivate the best artists possible. 🍂 FALL INTO GRACE 🩰

As the crisp autumn air rolls in and the leaves begin to turn, it’s the perfect time to refine your technique and bring new elegance to the stage.

Fall into Grace is an intimate two-week ballet intensive designed specifically for musical theatre performers. Find the quiet focus of the barre as you lengthen your lines, deepen your stretches, and bring warmth to your movement. Whether you want to clean up your pirouettes or reconnect with the grounded roots of dance, this flash course will give your audition prep a graceful edge. ✨

You’ll be learning from Kristen Hammer, a guest artist with Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago, Isthmus Dance Collective, and right here at CCT (On the Town, It’s A Wonderful Life). She has choreographed over 50 pieces and taught at Joffrey Ballet Academy, Madison Ballet, and academies across the country. 💛

📅 Tuesdays, October 13 & 20, 2026 | 7:30–9:00 PM
💰 $100 for both sessions
🚨 Class starts THIS Tuesday, and spaces are limited to keep instruction personal!

⭐ STAR VEHICLE LABORATORY: Become Unforgettable ⭐

Ready to stop simply singing and start COMMANDING the room? 🎤

In this two-week intensive, Adolpho Blaire helps you build your ultimate, undeniable Star Vehicle, from defining your fierce, authentic identity as an artist to taking your audience on a magnetic and unexpected journey. You won’t just leave an impression. You’ll leave them unable to forget you. ✨

Week 1: Bring your go-to musical theatre piece for laser-focused coaching with acclaimed music director Mary Ehlinger at the piano. Afterward, you’ll receive a curated portfolio of new audition songs chosen for YOUR unique essence.
Week 2: Debut a new 32-bar cut from your list and get Adolpho’s tailored direction to make it a showstopper.

Adolpho’s students have gone on to Broadway, national tours, major regional theatres, film and TV, and every major college theatre program in the country. Mary’s decades-long career spans Off-Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades, and World Premiere Wisconsin. This is an incredible chance to learn from both in a safe, supportive space. 💛

When directors see your one-of-a-kind stamp on a song, they won’t just wonder where you fit. They’ll realize they can’t do the show without you.

📅 Sundays, October 18 & 25, 2026 | 7:00–9:30 PM
💰 $200 for both sessions
🚨 Starts next Sunday, so grab your spot now!
