Saturday morning is the perfect time to learn about Middleton history! Join Mike Davis on the Rowley Museum porch at 10 am June 20 for his June Stroll ‘n Tell. The leisurely walk takes about an hour and a half. As an added bonus, you can learn all about Middleton’s 1900 fire on its 125th anniversary.

We are coming up on one week since we had to cancel the Pie & Ice Cream Social and we want to express our gratitude for all the people who donated to the event prior -Hubbard Avenue Diner, all of our donors, and all of the volunteers baking pies. We're sad that we were not able to host the New Horizons Swing Band, because they enjoy playing as much as we enjoy listening. And we so appreciate those of you who donated, even though you didn't get a slice of pie. We are especially grateful to City Alderperson Charles Myers for donating the after tax of a month's Common Council salary for our benefit. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Pie & Ice Cream Social is CANCELED
Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s annual Pie & Ice Cream Social. Forecasts call for severe storms potentially between 2-5 pm and after 6 pm. When we say Rain or Shine, it does not include strong winds, hail, heavy rain and potential tornadoes.

WE'VE DECIDED TO CANCEL We are monitoring the weather, and still plan to hold the Pie & Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, June 10, from 5-8 pm. We will have the band under the shelter to keep them cool and dry. Hoping if it rains, it will wait until the last piece of pie has been consumed.

Don’t miss the coolest event in town Wednesday, June 10 at Lakeview Park from 5-8 pm. It's the 54th(?) Pie & Ice Cream Social. It may be hot, but you’ll be in the shade, and the pie ala mode will cool you off. We can't wait to hear the New Horizons Swing Band perform from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. New this year, while we appreciate cash, we will take cards and Apple Pay using a QR code. Those using cards will be charged an additional $1 per transaction to cover fees.

The ladies can hardly contain their excitement for the annual Pie & Ice Cream Social fundraiser Wednesday, June 10 from 5-8 pm. at Lakeview Park. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the New Horizon Swing Band play from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Long dresses and large hats are optional. Mainly cash sales, but if all goes right, we may be able to take cards.

Be sure to drop by the museum this weekend for a tour. We are open Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. While you’re at it, check out our gardens. We are looking for volunteers to water our flowers when we are not open. Please reach out if you have some extra time this Summer.

Decorate Autograph books Saturday

Be sure to drop by the children’s craft area and decorate an autograph book to take home. Middleton History volunteers will be on hand to help. In the 1800’s, children would collect autographs with their friends and family. Children would write beautiful poems and sentiments in flawless script. Drop by the museum sometime and we will show you these wonderful treasures.

Big weekend coming up! Be sure to take in the Middleton Art Walk this Saturday, May 16. Mike Davis will lead a Stroll ‘n Tell walk beginning at 11 and ending at the museum. Meet at the entrance of Capital Brewery. And stop by the kid zone and decorate an autograph book. Hours are from 10 to 5:30. The museum is also open from 10 to 1. Afterwards, we are all taking naps.
