Happy Spring! We are busy collecting Styrofoam and building shelters for the coming up kitten season (😢) and to prepare for the mad rush this Winter! Please contact us anytime to pick up or possibly have delivered, depending on where you are, as we are available throughout the year. We have plenty medium and large right now so shop early!! We do honor some special requests so don't hesitate to ask. We have painted some, drilled the holes on the ends of some, glued some together to make escape routes, and put blankets/pillows in some that stay in a catio. I thought I would show you photos of my house cats for the heck of it. I'll show you my ferals on the next posting. 😁 Please text 208-284-0511 as I don't always check FB.

3.2.26 We have received some family size shelters great for the kitten season ahead (31'x14"). We hope they never get used yet its unrealistic to dream off a world where there are no unwanted feral kittens or cats. They are stuffed with clean straw and ready for pick up in Middleton or possible delivery, depending on where you are and your time frame. For those who can donate, we really, super appreciate all of you and ask $5.00 per shelter. It helps keep our program going and pays for the supplies (cleaning, glue, straw) and gas to pick up coolers and deliver shelters as well as covers expense for those who can't donate. We will be unavailable from this weekend for a few weeks (Jan 29th-Feb 8th) for shelter pick up. We have a few of a new larger size that we just cleaned, cut, and stuffed with straw available tomorrow 1/27 and Wed 1/28 for pick up in Middleton. They measure 30wx24dx14h and can be used in the box or taken out. Please TEXT 208-284-0511 for response. Thanks for all you do, lovers of furry friends!!

Help keep your feral and outside kitties warm, dry, and protected with a styrofoam winter cat shelter, filled with straw. Straw helps retain body heat and also deters fleas.

(Donations are appreciated but never required.)
We give these shelters away because we understand how much time, money, and love you already pour into caring for feral and outdoor cats. 💛
Many more large shelters are available than what’s shown in the photos.

YAY!!! We just received 30 more medium coolers that are now built into shelters with straw and ready for pick up or possible delivery, depending on where you are and are flexible on delivery day and time. We just built 27 more medium shelters in boxes. Keeping them in the boxes work great if you are putting the shelters under a covering so they don't get wet as the kitties won't scratch the cardboard and they'll last a bit longer. Hi neighbors and friends! We LOVE building the larger Omaha Steak Styrofoam into cat shelters. I'm sure many of you are all getting these wonderful Christmas gifts this year and we will gladly pick up your discarded Styrofoam. We ask they be big enough for a cat, at least 14x19. Hi cat people! Thanks to all who have picked up shelters early this Fall! We are super low and only have what you see in the photo left, possibly, for the year. There are a few we painted brown to tuck away in the bushes a bit better. The thick Styrofoam is getting harder to come by so if anyone has any large, thick coolers they would like to dispose of, please let us know. We are working with folks in Mountain Home and Ontario to hopefully get some shelter pick up areas scattered around the area for everyone's convenience as well as ours. Its been difficult to keep up with the demand of up to 1,000 shelters per year so, please, if anyone is interested in building and distributing shelters in the Treasure Valley, we would love to help you get started!
