We recently shared an episode of At the Table with Pam Bingaman featuring Jim Dreier, Director of Downtown Ministries but where did the idea to bring Faith & Finances to Middlebury begin?

It started with Middlebury Food Pantry board member Lynn Blyly, CPA, who retired after 20 years with RSM US LLP. Lynn is passionate about providing our clients with the food they need while also creating opportunities for personal growth and long-term financial stability.

Congratulations to our dear friend Kelsey Tubbs & Babies Basic Needs Corp. on this donation.

For those who don’t know, the organization shares a space inside the Middlebury Food Pantry and the work they do makes such a difference to parents and babies.

A Pleasant Saturday Surprise!

Saturday brought us a wonderful surprise when members of the Northridge High School tennis team showed up to volunteer at the pantry after their practice was rained out.

We’re so grateful they chose to spend their unexpected free time giving back and helping our community! After a morning of serving, we even took the team out for lunch.

Thank you, Northridge tennis, for spending your Saturday with us! We loved having you here!

Meet Holly & Robert!

Holly and Robert have been volunteering with us for the past three weeks, and they’ve already become a dynamic duo!

You’ll often find them helping clients carry their bags from the many choices in our lobby. They always bring a smile and usually an armful of empty bags for anyone who needs one.

We love our volunteers and are so excited to welcome Holly and Robert to the Middlebury Food Pantry family. Thank you both for all you do!

Faith & Finances Is Coming to the Middlebury Food Pantry!

We’re excited to partner with Downtown Ministries to offer a free 10-week financial education class covering budgeting, saving, debt, financial goals, and more.

Starts Monday, September 14th and runs through November 16th at the Middlebury Food Pantry - Dinner at 5:30 PM | Class at 6:00 PM

Only 20 participants will be accepted, so don’t wait to register! Register at downtownmin.org or scan the QR code on the flyer.

The need is definitely not slowing down. Thankfully, we live in an incredible community that continues to support our mission, allowing us to provide food for everyone who comes through our doors.

We never take that for granted. But as long as we continue to say yes to those in need, we trust that God will continue to provide enough.

The need isn’t slowing down.

Many of our coalition partners, including Middlebury Food Pantry, served significantly more families in July than they did just one month earlier.

This is the reality facing our community.
