Our friends from Middlebury American Legion Post 27 came to visit us at the care home we are renovating at 427 E. Main St in Middlebury and they made an exceptionally generous donation toward our work!

We have been so honored to care for veterans and their families through the years and we appreciated their comments and their confidence in us.

Community organizations like the Legion can support organizations like ours because community members support them. Even if you are not a member, you can support the Legion by attending their craft fairs, attending bingo on Wednesdays and renting their facility for events. Check out their page for details.

Thank you to the Legion for the fun visit and the very generous contribution.

Last week our friends from Middlebury Lions came out to the level III care home we are working on at 427 E. Main Street in Middlebury and presented us with a generous donation check!

They toured the home, had great feedback and offered their help as we go along. We are so appreciative and honored by their confidence in us!

Civic organizations can support non-profits in their communities because community members support them. Check out their page for details about their annual chicken BBQ and auction happening TONIGHT and don’t forget to support their food booth at Addison County Fair and Field Days in a few weeks.

Thank you, Lions!

Last week, we celebrate and thanked one of our incredible Physical Therapists on her retirement after 18 years of dedicated service with Addison County Home Health & Hospice.

For nearly two decades, Cathy Munteanu has helped countless individuals regain strength, independence, and confidence while providing compassionate care throughout our community. Her expertise, kindness, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the lives of so many patients, families, and colleagues.

We are deeply grateful for her years of service and wish her all the best in this well-deserved next chapter. Congratulations on your retirement, and thank you for making a difference every day!

What an amazing opportunity!

It was great to see everyone including Ben Fuller who gave away almost all the cash he had to support these great organizations who work hard to make life better for so many. 💵

It was all for charity and so very much appreciated!

What a difference a little paint makes!

Our handyman, Travis Wilson, has been hard at work making the bedrooms at our new care home at 427 East Main in Middlebury look fresh and new. With Travis’ efforts and the great work of Salamander Construction and their wonderful subs, the home is really coming together. We can’t wait to welcome residents and have them fill up these pretty shelves with their family pictures, books and other momentos. For admission inquiries please contact Amy Curtis at 802-388-7259; to contribute toward renovations please contact Maureen Conrad at the same number or click here to make a secure online donation.

There has been a tremendous amount of progress with the construction work at our care home located at 427 E. Main Street in Middlebury.
Sprinklers and alarms have been installed, bath fixture installation is underway and the stair glide system has been installed in the newly-expanded staircase.
After serving as a comfortable home for a family for years, this will soon house up to eight medically frail residents who will enjoy delicious meals and a safe and comfortable environment.

On Wednesday Laura Ullman from WCAX came to visit us at the residential care home we have recently purchased in East Middlebury. She has a keen interest in housing, particularly for the elderly, and we loved having the opportunity to show here all the progress that has been made by Salamander Construction and a group of excellent local subs.
