Join and on a trail work day in the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area this Saturday from 9am to noon.

Meet at the Oak Ridge Trail parking area to the right off Rt. 125 before Ripton (coming from Middlebury). There is a brown National Forest Parking sign for the lot.

Work begins at 9am and goes until noon. Bring work gloves, trail hoes, loppers, hand saws. We will be removing fallen trees, clearing drainage areas. Our trail work lead is Wendy Leeds.

With all this rain, we’re extra grateful to our riders for choosing caution and steering clear of wet, muddy trails. A little patience now means smoother rides and a stronger season ahead.

Let’s refresh the tread on more trail features! ACBC is doing another trail work session on Wednesday, May 6 from 5-7pm in Bristol at New Leaf Organics trails. Seth Beck is your trail work lead.

Trail work will focus on enhancing fun features and tackling existing drainage issues. Bring gloves and dirt moving tools: flat shovels and trail-working hoes.

Location: 4818 Bristol Rd, Bristol VT 05443. Park up the hill past the barn, after the tiny house turn right; Park in the gravel area and do not block the road.
