The Crystal Valley Exchange Club recently held our 2026 Scholar and Athlete of the Year Awards recognition meeting. A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to this amazing group of Northridge High School students. Best wishes to all in the Class of 2026 as you pursue your goals and future plans beyond Northridge High School!

Thank you to the staff, teachers, administrators, coaches, bus drivers, parents and all who support the schools and students all year long. It is a great joy for us to meet new students, their coaches, and teachers all year long, and a distinct honor to recognize this elite group of students.

We are once again winding down another great school year. It has been a pleasure to recognize a great group of Spring Crystal Valley Exchange Club Student Scholars and Athletes of the Month.

Congratulations to Hadley Troyer named the Scholar of the Month for May. Athletes of the Month include Lily Vasil representing Girls Track, Jaden Fisher for Boys Track and Elaina Duthie for Girls Tennis.

Congratulations to Mrs. Kori Cripe, the 2026 recipient of the Crystal Valley Exchange Club Book of Golden Deeds Award. Thank you to all who joined us to celebrate this amazing human and her servant leadership, kind and compassionate heart, and the many, many ways she helps children and others in our community!

Thank you to Essenhaus for hosting our banquet at the Inn and Conference Center and catering a delicious meal.

Thank you Club President Gregg Eash and Board Member Mitch Miller for keeping the evening moving, and all Members for a lovely evening. Thank you to all in the community for their continued support of the Crystal Valley Exchange Club and our continued work. See ya in the Taco Stand in July 😉!

If you have heard of Pickleball but don't know where to go to learn or play, look no further than the Pickle Haus in Town of Middlebury, Indiana! We appreciate Randi Yoder and Amber Illingworth for hosting us on the Essenhaus campus at their beautiful facility. Pickleball is a fusion of tennis, ping pong, and badminton with elements of volleyball (scoring) and softball/baseball (watch the ball👀).

The game is really wonderful for people of all ages, and skill levels are intentionally matched up to make it best for all. Check out the Pickle Haus https://essenhaus.com/pickle-haus/ and their opportunities for beginners all the way up to advanced pro level players. You can book a court online. This gem is getting utilized by out of town guests, local leagues, and for tournament play.

We are so fortunate to have such excellent, climate controlled (not hot blast sun, wind, rain, or snow) premier courts right in our backyard! If you're looking for a fun activity to get you moving, check out pickleball at the Pickle Haus!

It was great to meet Mr. Tony Rouse, the Northridge Strength and Conditioning Coach. If you see him (the tall guy pictured below on the left) around the Middlebury Schools Campus, be sure to say hello. It seems very apparent that he is helping develop the minds, along with overall muscular and body strength of the young people in our community. Welcome Mr. Rouse!
