With heavy hearts, we share that we suffered a devastating loss this morning.
When we went up to feed the goats, we found that Millie—one of our very first rescues—had passed peacefully during the night.

Millie and her daughter Libby were rescued from abuse while living at a petting farm zoo. Millie was one of our oldest goats and had been doing well; she showed no signs of illness and was fine at bedtime checks last night. We truly believe she passed naturally, surrounded by the safety and love she knew here.

Our hearts are broken beyond belief, and Libby’s heart is broken too. 💔
Millie was deeply loved and will always hold a special place in the story of Freedom Farm.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Thanks-Living event last night! 💛🦃
It was such a beautiful evening filled with compassion, community, and so much love for the animals. The food, the laughter, the raffles, the conversations — every moment was meaningful because you were there.

It was also amazing to finally meet some of our long-time supporters in person. Your kindness and dedication mean more to us than you know.
