A change of scenery for the juniors tonight! Tonight juniors visited and learned about our West End Station and our apparatus kept at the West End. Juniors learned about Squad 1,Engine 4,Gator 1 and Marine 1 as well as our portable light tower!

Can anyone guess what year Engine 4 was built in?

(Hint: it is our oldest piece of apparatus that is currently in service!)

On this rainy Friday juniors got to know Engine 1 and the equipment on it, as well as what types of calls it is used for. Juniors also got to learn what makes it so special and how unique it really is.
After that juniors were able to freshen up there skills and knowledge with a relay race and scavenger hunt to find equipment on all of the apparatus including the ambulances that are stationed at Fire Headquarters

Tonight Juniors spent time going over one of our very important pieces of apparatus, Rescue 1. Juniors learned what emergencies it responds to as well as all of its equipment.
