The president of the NHS Junior Optimists, Andrew Deal and sponsor Cindy Miller stopped by Stable Grounds to present Jane Allen with a generous donation. What an encouragement it is to have our students supporting other students in this way!!! We are thankful to have been thought of and chosen as a recipient.

The herd is ready for a little R&R I think! As the 2025-2026 school year comes to a close, we are blessed to have had the opportunity to impact so many lives alongside our beloved herd.☀️ Our mission could not be sustained without the support of so many! You all are helping us to provide hope and healing to hearts and minds.

A great day. Several classes from HIS walked over for a visit this morning. Mrs. Houser is one of our dedicated weekend volunteers. It is no secret that the donkeys are her very most favorite!! We are always excited to share with kiddos our mission and normalize time spent in the barn.

The parallels to life are endless. Leading a big horse requires the exact same skills as leading a little one - just more confidence. So if you can handle little problems you can handle big ones. One step at a time, using your skills. Empowering moments are internalized for kids when the 1200 lb horse trusts and follows. Love seeing their faces light up when they accomplish big things!

Our fundraiser last night was a great mix of good food, Bingo fun, and stories of the impact Stable Grounds has in providing hope and healing. I took one picture the whole night…..of the cake 🤦🏻‍♀️😂.
As I scooped 💩 this morning, and told all the horses of the generosity displayed last night …..I thought about how grateful Kori and I are to our parents. Many years ago they made big sacrifices so we could have and love horses. We never could have imagined then that we would be able to use our passion for horses to help others in such a powerful way. And it’s all because they saw how great of an impact horses were for us. 💕 🐴
