Thanks to a generous donor we were able to purchase our own washing machine. Why is this so exciting? Because it ensures that our horse blankets for winter will be able to stay clean and odor free! If you’ve spent time around our beautiful white steed you can appreciate why that is importante. 😜 🐷 👃🏼

We’ve been running on a skeleton crew (horses & people)….but now that we are back in full swing - the rest of the herd returns! So thankful for our custom truck which allows our minis to ride in style and feel like big stuff.

Big News! We are so excited to officially welcome therapist Carolyn Logue, MSW, LCSW, CSAYC to the Stable Grounds team. Carolyn has had a lifelong love of horses and discovered the healing power of the human-equine connection at a young age. With extensive experience in therapy, residential treatment, equine-assisted therapy, and working with clients of all ages, she brings a unique blend of horse expertise, clinical experience, and genuine compassion to Stable Grounds. She is passionate about helping to expand our ability to support more youth and families.

Today, as a school corporation, we were challenged to be less focused on big goals and future outcomes, and more intentional in what we can do “every day” (two words). Being an “every day” person takes discipline and appreciation that the little things are all part of the bigger process.

We are so blessed. Y’all smashed our back to school Amazon list!!! The boxes are rolling in, and we are excited to start a new year with fun new things for students. It’s all thanks to your generous donations. We are still in need of 6-8 plastic barrels for our second arena….. Anybody have connections that could hook us up before we go buy some?!

As we head into the school year - a fun way to support the Stable Grounds mission is to shop our Amazon wish list! These arts and crafts supplies, arena props, etc allow our herd to create therapeutic opportunities for kids of all ages. Each child’s experience is customized to meet them where they are at.
There is a lot that goes into getting back to work, and this is one way you all can help!
