Important Announcement: We want to thank you for your continued support and participation in the Jim Schatz Memorial Trail 10K Race (formerly the Loudoun 10K Trail Race) over the past 10 years. With the generous support of you, our sponsors and volunteers, we raised over $313,000 for Boulder Crest Foundation, a nonprofit organization for Veterans and First Responders.

On November 13, 2022, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary, a milestone year for us. Since the last few years, however, we discovered that the number of race participants was dwindling with last year being our lowest. The decision to continue our race was inevitable, and a tough one to make. So, it is with heavy hearts we are letting you know that 2022 was our last race. Again, we thank you for supporting our cause in memory of our friend, Jim Schatz, and providing funds to Boulder Crest.

We hope our paths cross again, and we invite you to join us at any time as we run the beautiful, scenic country roads of Western Loudoun County. You can find our run schedule at loudounroadrunners.org.

We would like to thank all of you who made this year's race possible for us to raise funds for Boulder Crest Foundation. A big thanks to our runners who come out to support this wonderful cause. Thank you to all the volunteers -- our race committee, our running club (LRR FB Group), our family and friends who came out on the cold, windy morning that was race day! Online registration had closed but you can still register tomorrow morning at the race headquarters. Registration and packet pickup will open at 7:30 am.

Just several days away to race day . . . and here are the 2022 JSMT10K Race Medals for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Male and Female Winners, along with Medals for the Youngest and Oldest Participants. Hey Runners!

Today was an exciting day for JSMT10K! We dropped off the 2021 race check at Boulder Crest Foundation. Thanks to some recent contributions, our total amount raised this year for Boulder Crest was.....$35,724!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who continues to support us year after year. We are so lucky to be able to put on this race with such amazing donors!

To date, we have raised a total of $278,810! We are super hopeful we will be able to hit $300,000 next year!
