The forecasters were right and has been just like living in a snow globe. It has been ages since we got a proper snow fall and we have made the most of it. Now it is just beautiful.

Due to a very low response rate for attendees to the planned Carnegie Gathering this August 2026, our Clan Gathering has been delayed to August 7, 2027. This allows us additional time to promote the event and gather interest. Apologies to those who may have already booked flights and/or accommodations.

Winter atmosphere here in Angus but not looking like a snowy Christmas for us. Glad to be welcoming some old friends in the apartments. Thank you for your support

NOTICE: THE CARNEGIE GATHERING HAS BEEN DELAYED TO AUGUST 7, 2027 due to a limited response for this year. Update: The 2026 Gathering of the Carnegie Clan is scheduled for the 8th of August 2026 at Kinnaird Castle.

What a year for mushrooms. This year they seem to be more prolific and with new varieties I have not spotted before.
