The Middleburg Garden Club The Story of the Middleburg Garden Club

The Club originated in 1938 when a group of ladies who wanted to beautify the town formed The Middleburg Garden Club.

For nearly eight decades the Club has worked to make Middleburg a more beautiful place to live. In all of its endeavors -- from the plantings and signs at the town entrances to landscaping projects at the Firehouse, Community Center, Library, Post Office, Glenwood Park and the Visitor’s Information Center, to our national-award winning Christmas Greens Show and Spring Garden Tours, the Club has co

ntributed to the community. At its monthly meetings, Club members both learn about and teach each other the wonders of plants and flowers, hear from experts on flora and fauna, and participate in friendly design and horticultural competitions. And we continue to concentrate on further enhancing our already-beautiful town.
