Today the ACCESS bargaining team begins negotiating a new contract with management. They are ready to fight and do whatever it takes to negotiate a fair and equitable contract. Shoutout to our bargaining team of Ky Theophanous, Sharon Manuel, Alex Dittrick, Cindy Miclau, Jen Mashburn, Mike Moats, Lisa Watson, Boris Brezo, and Don Holub! We all proudly stand with you!

As our peers and good friends from SEIU 1199 WV/KY/OH wrap up another week of negotiations with CCBDD management, we would like to express our continued support and solidarity. We hope that a fair and equitable contract is negotiated so that staff have the resources needed to serve and support the residents of Cuyahoga County.

ACCESS stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in SEIU District 1199 WV/KY/OH as they begin bargaining a new contract with Cuyahoga DD management. We understand the challenges and obstacles that they are going to face during this process. We offer our full support and resources so that they can negotiate a fair and equitable contract. Solidarity forever!

Shout out to all ACCESS members who serve individuals in the IST program. ACCESS members make up a majority of the staff on these teams, and this program would not be possible without them!

Shout out to ACCESS member and Equipment Assistant Boris Brezo! He operates the CCBDD lending library and oversees all equipment orders received by the county board. Without him, the individuals we serve would not receive the equipment they need to live, learn, work, and play in the community. We all greatly appreciate your hard work and the help you provide each day. Thank you!!
