Want to come see a cool event, encourage young robotics engineers, support a nonprofit, and get a meal/soda and a free swim as thanks?

Come check out Middleboro's First Annual Underwater Robotics Extravaganza at the Middleboro Town Pool at 26 Jackson St on August 15th 11a-1p (doors at 1030a).

We purposefully set the price at "Whatever you want to contribute" so that your bank account doesn't prevent you from taking it all in or inspiring your kiddo with some local underwater robotics, but we did suggest $10/adult, $5/kid, and $25/family of 4 to help cover our costs, and of course we would not be upset if you loved what we do so much that you chose to contribute more!!

Come see the robots that our kids have been building/testing for 5 weeks face off!

We are happy to announce our 2026 underwater robotics team applications. If your student is interested in being on a team to first build, then race an underwater robot, please fill out an application here! We will review applications and admit students based on their level of interest in underwater robotics. We will only be accepting students from Middleboro, and it is completely free of charge.

At this time we are accepting applications for elementary, middle, and high school students, and we will fill out as many teams as we can muster coaches for.

We plan to accept applications for the next week or so, then announce teams, have our first meetup in early July, and run for a couple hours at 11 Center St downtown on Saturdays through July into August for approximately 6 weeks. Exact dates/times are still being hammered out. It is OK to miss 1 week, but if you already know that you won't be able to make a bunch of Saturdays during this time period, please don't apply, since we would like to award seats to those who can participate the most fully. If the timing doesn't work for you, please feel free to check out our other BoroBot offerings by signing up for our emails or checking our posted classes on https://www.borobot.org/.

We just had a cancellation which opened up a slot for kids 3d printing this Thursday 6/18 at 6pm. Free for middleboro residents, cheap for non-middleboro!

Did you know that Aubuchon Ace Hardware is doing a "roundup" fundraiser for us during the month of June? If your order comes to let's say $14.56, and you tell them to "roundup for BoroBot", they'll round your order to $15.00, we will get $0.44, and then the Aubuchon Foundation will match it with another $0.44, so your donation will be doubled!

Thanks so much to manager Kozlowski for selecting us for this fundraiser which has helped us to fund underwater robotics + a bunch left over to fund several upgrades the past 2 years!

Hi everyone, we have posted a new 3d printing 101 class for June 18th. This is a class for kids aged 8-21 and will run from 6pm to 8pm

PLEASE NOTE: this is the same inspiration-style class we have offered in the past, so we will only accept new students, not repeat attendees at this time. Soon we will have advanced classes to offer, but for now our goal is to inspire as many young minds as possible, and we hope you understand!

In this class, Heather and co-teachers will teach children ages 8-21. Then, students will be able to design their own project that will be cut in front of their eyes and be ready to take home by the end of class. Students will learn about vector drawing using web tools, laser safety, and the basics of laser cutting. Many thanks to Heather for her hard work in developing this class that has hobby, entrepreneur, and career implications!

This class will happen on May 28th, and will run from 6-8pm.
This is the same 101 level class we've taught before, so please no repeat attendees. Thank you!
