Updated Save-the-Dates for the month of June! A few changes have been made for the end of the school year. The most important changes are:

-This month's PTA meeting will be Thursday, June 11th at 5:30 (NOT June 4)

-There will be NO movie night in June. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Movie Nights a success, we hope to see them back again next school year!

-Family event on June 18th will be from 5-7pm with a rain date to be announced as needed.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
May Movie Night is on May 27th --just a few weeks away! Tickets will be available and posted in a few days, but first we're looking for volunteers with a Cori on file to help for the night.

Commitment? 4:30-7:15 on Wednesday, May 27th

Tasks? Set up, supervision, food distribution, and a quick cleanup.

Perks? Pizza, popcorn, meeting some of your child's peers and other parents/teachers, and getting to see The Garfield Movie! You will also get first access to tickets when they become available in a few days to ensure your children can come with you before a possible sell -out.

OMG! 👀👀 look at what you all have done! Not only have your families and friends helped us hit our fundraising goal, you’ve almost gotten us to our magical unicorn 🦄 there’s no way we’ll get there goal! We’re in awe of your generosity and can’t wait to host this event in two days!

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Thanks to the incredible support of our families, friends, sponsors, and community, the MECC PTA has officially reached our fundraising goal — and we did it with SIX DAYS to go before our Dance-A-Thon! 💃🕺✨

We are beyond grateful for every donation, share, sponsorship, and word of encouragement. Because of you, we are helping ensure an amazing 26/27 school year for our students and staff. ❤️

But we’re not done yet! There’s still time to donate and help us go ABOVE our goal. Every additional dollar raised will go directly back to our students through field trips, enrichment activities, school events, teacher appreciation, recess items, and more!

Students who are aiming for a Top 5 Prize have until Wednesday, May 6th @ 8PM for donations to count towards placement! 🥇🥈🥉Winners will be announced on May 7th!

Let’s keep the momentum going and make the 2026 Dance-A-Thon the one to beat for years to come! 🌟

ITS TIME!!! Dance-A-Thon Volunteers needed!

🌀ATTENTION PRE-K families🌀
We understand that some students will not be in school during this event. We would like to give you the opportunity for them to come in and participate if an adult is aviable to do so. You can see the schedule in the comments. When coming in please check in at the front office. If you have a CORI on file you may join your student on the dance floor. If you do not have a Cori on file you may watch from the bleachers while your student participates with schoolmates. This is not a drop off event, adults must stay in the gymnasium and take the student home after one 30 min session. Thank you!

🌺 Theme Update! 🌺

Due to a location change to the gym, our Dance-A-Thon is getting a fun new vibe… we’re going Luau style! 🏝️🌊

☀️🕶️if you have any Luau/Beach themed party decorations your looking to unload from your closet we will happily put them to good use!

🌀We’re looking for help setting up and decorating on Wednesday May 6th from 3-4:30! Please reach out if you’re able to help! (Day of event volunteer sign ups will be later this week)🌀

May movie night will take place on WEDNESDAY, MAY 27th to coincide with an exciting Bracks Tavern Night Out complete with amazing raffle opportunities...

(Auditorium is also unavailable earlier in the month because of the Kindergarten concerts - and we can't wait to see those kids sing their hearts out!! May is going to be a great month!)
