Sunday School starts again on Sunday, September 20 at 9:15am. Children aged 5 and up to pre-confirmation are welcome. The focus is on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the major stories of the Old Testament. Children are encouraged to read and experience the Bible for themselves. We use several versions appropriate for different ages. We emphasize that each person is a child of God, has intrinsic worth, and can contribute something to the greater body of Christ, no matter how small. We teach the redemptive power of Jesus Christ and that we are loved always, even when things go wrong. The children learn what it means to love your neighbor as yourself. We pray the Lord’s Prayer together. The children also have the opportunity to pray for each other.
