Every spring, individuals and groups join the Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest organized cleanup, beautification and community improvement program.

12 bags of litter cleaned up just in this area of Coram Swezeytown Rd between Mt Sinai-Coram Rd to Swezey Ln. We can say, after years of cleaning this area, there's somehow more litter than ever and always the same repeat offenders.
I can't understand why people do this when it costs an obscene amount to live here on Long Island.
A neighbor stopped to thank us and chat about what can be done to maintain this area. If you are interested in helping out, donating supplies or whatever we decided to meet at 10am on the first Sunday of every month.
