Photos of old Medina Dam gate valves. The old gate valves were donated to MLPS and still sit near the dam. We are looking for volunteers to proceed with this mission. Task are moving the markers and setting up a scenic viewing site near the dam. Please contact us if you are interested.

MLPS is looking for volunteers to continue our cause to get a Medina Dam scenic overlook, and to get the Medina Dam historical markers moved so the public can view them. This would involve working with the BMA water district. Please contact mike at 210-859-5246 if you are interested. Thanks!

How Medina Lake is managed by the Bexar Medina Atascosa Water Control and Improvement District 1, or BMA, has drawn criticism from a group called Save Medina Lake. The group, which was founded close to three years ago is now making another push for change.

The Medina Aqua Skiers are back and an official USA Water Ski affiliated club. All members must be a member of USA Water Ski. Anyone looking to have fun is welcome to join! This is a great way to meet other skiers at the lake and help the kids. More information will be posted soon. Certified drivers are needed with boats for insurance coverage by USA Water Ski. http://www.usawaterski.org/
