Remembering Alan Inc.

Feeling under the weather (not to be confused with feeling OVER the weather 🤔🤭) so I decided to work in the Remembering Alan room….for a minute until my body reminded me that I am not currently above…or over, the weather 😂.

Put together my new file holders which will make packing backpacks easier! I think I can fit 2-3 more and then I will be able to pack 20-35 backpacks at a time!!

I organized one shelf and then I boxed myself in 😂😂😂. I am really enjoying the learning process of all of this and I think my streamlining idea will work well!

(As a side note, I do not use grant funding for any of my crazy ideas…I pay for the supplies, shelving units, folder holders etc. myself) OH, yes I know I need a purple curtain 😂.

It never ceases to amaze me how many wonderful connections I make through this nonprofit.

At the Mac n Cheese Fest I met a wonderful Momma who, sadly, lost her son too. We were able to connect here to collaborate in the future!

Today, I was taking flyers out, asking for sponsors and I met a wonderful young lady who, sadly lost her father to Substance Use Disorder. She has it on her heart to do some pretty amazing things for kids who have to go through what she did. I will be sure to keep you posted as she gets up n running!!

I put Alan in charge of the Purple Pumpkin. This is the chair he used to sit in outside 💜

Thank you Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Inc. for all you do in the community to help those who have experienced Domestic Violence, and for getting these purple pumpkins into the community to help raise awareness!!

There were still a few left if you want to grab one from the Michigan City Chamber-Commerce! It’s right across from City Hall!
