Jay's Wish is a non-profit organization created in memory of Javaughn Blakely Jr. He was diagnosed in 2010 and fought for four long years. We want pediatric cancer patients to know that the race is not given to the swift nor to the strong, but to the one that endures to the end. We want to use Jay's love of music to give hope to other children. We want to be a resource to families with sick and suffering children.

Ronald McDonald House provides comfort, care and support for families with children who are sick around the world.

Years ago, we stayed at a Ronald McDonald Home in Indianapolis while our brother was receiving services. The coordinator of this event and founder of Black yacht weekend also shares a personal experience.
