The Big Bass Bash Fishing Fundraising Tournament is set for Following Dates: FISH FRY June 26 (5-8p) & THE MAIN EVENT/FUNDRAISER/TOURNAMENT - June 27th, 2015. Edwin Evers will be the Emcee again for this years event. Do you have what it takes to beat the two-time reigning champ Matt Gunningham and his winning partner Ross Turnabene from 2015 event? The last day for sign up is June 26th, 2015. The Portage Port Authority has graciously waived all launch fees for June 21st thru 27th with proof of registration for Pre-Fishing a $60.00 Savings!

I urge each and everyone of you to write your Congressmen and Senators to demand the realease of Marine SGT Andrew Tahmooressi who is being held in a Mexican prison for mistakenly making a wrong turn and entering Mexico while transporting legally owned fi****ms. SGT Tahmooressi served two tours of duty in OEF and suffers from PTS and TBI. Please write today! Lets bring this Marine home.

ES**RT TO HONOR! JUNE 1ST, 2014
SUNDAY, JUNE 1ST, 2014 ES**RT VETERANS TO LEON'S TRIATHLON

The Warriors First Foundation has teamed up with South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority and Indiana Patriot Guard Riders to show 12 veterans good hospitality. The Warriors First Foundation has sponsored the veterans during their stay in preparation for the Leon's Triathlon.

ES**RT IN HONOR: The Warriors First Foundation would like to ask for your participation in welcoming these veterans by es**rting them to the Leon’s Triathlon.

If you are interested please meet us at the Hampton Inn at 6:30 AM sharp located on 8936 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. We will depart at 6:45 AM . We will es**rt the veterans to the Wolf Park Pavilion in Hammond located on 2405 Calumet Ave., Hammond IN. (NOTE: Its very important you show up on time please.)

The Veterans will need to warm up around 7:15. There is an opening ceremony starts at 7:30 AM. You are welcome to stay for the event.

Happy Armed Force Day!

Hello Everyone, I am Elizabeth Sanchez, Administrator/Secretary of Warriors First Foundation. I have been challenged to do the Cold Water Challenge by a few close friends. For the love of the foundation...I accept the challenge and have gathered $30.00 for the foundation. But there will be more money given to the foundation for those who will be accepting the challenge. If they do not accept, they will owe the organization even more money!

I will take a moment and address my concern with people who have taken this challenge and have been hospitalized. Please do not take this challenge and put your life in danger. Seriously, please be safe out there people. I will have a few lifeguards available during my challenge. I highly recommend you do the same. I will be accepting my challenge today at 5:30 PM CST in Lake Michigan at the Washington Park. The waves are high and the water is cold, but again I will have a few lifeguards available to me in case of an emergency.

I just learned about this challenge this morning. The rules are each person calls out 3 people prior to their dip in the lake. Each person has to submerge their entire body in the water and then jump out. The dip must be on video and posted on the Facebook for proof. Each participant donates $10.00 to the Warriors First Foundation. If you chose not to accept the challenge, then the donation is upped to $100.00 to the foundation. Each person must accept their challenge in 48 hours or they donate $100.00 to the organization.

I will be calling out foundation board member Seth Bruni, Cass Bailey & the Region Rat Rollers, and my friend James Morton tonight. Stay tuned for my video!

To our friends:
As we sit around our dinner tables, let us not forget 45,000 troops on duty in Afghanistan. They will have dinner with their second family, their fellow soldiers. All of these men and women sacrifice a lot for each and every one of us. Let us be thankful for their sacrifice, the sacrifices of their families, and those who have given their lives in the name of a nation and a people who seek to live free and prosperous. Soldiers are truly some of the most courageous people on the planet. Happy Thanksgiving and may god watch over all families tonight.
