If you’re searching for an affordable wedding venue that you can truly make your own, don’t overlook the Michigan Center Eagles!

I’ve had the privilege of transforming the ballroom for several New Year’s Eve celebrations, and each year guests are amazed at how beautiful the room becomes. With the right decorations, lighting, flowers, and your own personal touch, it can be turned into an elegant, romantic setting that looks like it came straight out of a wedding magazine.

One of the biggest advantages? You can create your dream wedding without spending a fortune. It’s a hidden gem right here in our community that’s perfect for weddings, receptions, bridal showers, anniversaries, and other special celebrations.

To any brides-to-be—and anyone else planning a special event—I highly recommend taking a look at the Michigan Center Eagles. You might be surprised at what you can create! 💍✨

WARNING: Hazardous Canadian wildfire smoke is blanketing Michigan today.

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires has pushed air quality across much of Michigan, including Southeast Michigan into the EPA's Hazardous category.

Michigan is experiencing some of the highest smoke concentrations in the country today.

A few important reminders:
• Stay indoors as much as possible.
• Keep windows and doors closed.
• Run your air conditioner on recirculate if possible.
• Avoid outdoor exercise, sports, and yard work.
• If you must be outside, wear a well-fitting N95 or KN95 mask.
• Children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with asthma, COPD, or heart disease should take extra precautions.

Even healthy people may experience coughing, burning eyes, a sore throat, headaches, or shortness of breath.
Conditions are expected to last through much of today, so limit your time outdoors and continue to monitor local forecasts for updates.
