MY Pride NC is an LGBTQ+ organization based in Western North Carolina in the counties of Mitchell and Yancey. Our mission is to give the Q***r community and our Allies of this rural, beautiful mountain area a place to come together and be you. We put on MY Pride Fest annually and have several get togethers throughout the year.

We're officially collecting raffle prizes for PrideFest 2026!

Each year, our community raffle helps raise funds to support PrideFest and MY Pride NC's work throughout Mitchell and Yancey Counties. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, artists, organizations, and community members, last year's raffle was one of our most successful fundraisers ever.

We're currently seeking donations of:
✨ Gift cards
✨ Artwork
✨ Handmade goods
✨ Gift baskets
✨ Local experiences
✨ Services
✨ Event tickets
✨ Unique items from businesses and creators

Every donation helps us continue creating welcoming, inclusive spaces and celebrating LGBTQ+ community in our mountain home.

Roles include working the welcome table, merch sales, vendor setup, parking support and more. We’re still accepting vendor applications for this year’s PrideFest at the beautiful Penland School of Craft on June 27. Whether you’re an artist, maker, small business, nonprofit, food vendor, or community organization, we’d love to have you there.

This year’s theme is Pride in Every Holler — a celebration of q***r joy, creativity, and community across Western North Carolina.

Do you offer something interactive or unexpected — circus arts, live art, movement workshops, pop-up experiences, or something we haven’t even imagined yet?
We want PrideFest to feel vibrant, joyful, and a little magical — and that starts with YOU!

🌈Vendor Applications Are OPEN for PrideFest 2026!🌈

Join us on June 27, 2026 at Penland School of Craft for PrideFest: Pride in Every Holler — a joyful celebration of q***r community in the mountains.

We’re inviting artists, makers, small businesses, food vendors, and nonprofits to apply to be part of this year’s event!

💛 Booth Fees (Sliding Scale):
• For-profit businesses: $50–$150 (pay what you can within that range)
• Nonprofits: $25–$75 (pay what you can within that range)

Your booth fee helps cover event costs and supports MY Pride’s work building LGBTQIA+ community in rural Western NC.

We’re excited to share a preview of some of the amazing items in our silent auction happening during our Frosty & Fabulous event tomorrow! ❄️✨ All proceeds will benefit Crossnore Communities for Children and Youth OUTright—two organizations doing powerful work to support youth and families right here in our region. 💙🌈

Enjoy a cozy evening of music, food, laughter, and local pride.

🎁 Community Benefit Silent Auction! Purchased by MY Pride NC from local artists, all proceeds will be donated to Youth OUTright and Crossnore Communities for Children - two incredible organizations supporting youth and families in Western NC. (Auction ends at 8 pm - be sure to come and bid!)
