MY Pride NC is an LGBTQ+ organization based in Western North Carolina in the counties of Mitchell and Yancey. Our mission is to give the Q***r community and our Allies of this rural, beautiful mountain area a place to come together and be you. We put on MY Pride Fest annually and have several get togethers throughout the year.

Isolation, hopelessness, fear and outrage are bad for the health of individuals, communities, and nations. Let’s talk about loves, passions, positive world events, how we are feeling and what we are doing in real life over political rhetoric, upsetting current events, online drama or organizing work. As always, we support sharing honestly, venting, and heavy discussions as needed for your wellbeing, too. All are welcomed, needed, and loved!❤️

Local LGBTQ+ folks & allies always have and always will contribute to helping our beautiful mountain communities thrive! We are nonpartisan, intergenerational, multicultural & prioritize wellness. ❤️ We organize social gatherings and volunteer days to strengthen our local support systems and help all who share our beloved mountain community! 🏳️‍🌈Pridefest 2026: Pride in Ever Holler is TOMORROW!! 🏳️‍🌈

We are so excited to celebrate with you all! Get ready for an amazing day of community, love, and joy from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Penland School of Crafts, immediately followed by our spectacular Drag Show starting at 6:00 PM! 🥳✨

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we have UPDATED our parking plan this year. Please take a close look at the maps! 🚙👇

🚌 General Parking & Shuttle (Free!): MY Pride NC is happy to be providing complimentary Mitchell County Transport shuttles to run continuously throughout the day!

▪︎Where to Park: General parking is located at The Ridgeway building (right across from the Penland Gallery).
▪︎The Shuttle: It’s a super quick, 2-minute ride that drops you off directly at the festival entrance!

👥 Carpool & Park at the Venue (4+ People): We HIGHLY encourage carpooling! If you have 4 or more people in your vehicle, you qualify for special Family Parking closer to the action:

▪︎Where to Park: Lots A, B, or C right at the venue.
▪︎Please note: These spots are first-come, first-served.

We will have wonderful parking attendants on-site to direct you exactly where to go. Pack your sunscreen, bring your best energy, and let's make tomorrow unforgettable. See you all there! 🌈✨
