Thank you to everyone who visited and participated at last weekend’s Civil War event at the Heritage Village! We had a great time and loved seeing everyone! Feel free to share your photos in the comments.

Thanks to PopPop for rescuing the fire from the pernicious Saturday winds. Thanks also to Kim Izor and Mary Izor for all of their generous support and providing Sunday's ice cream. Thanks to Chad Warrell for dropping by to play us some great Civil War fiddle tunes. Thanks to Debby Eagle Gillaugh for taking pictures and chatting about genealogy. Thanks to Laurel Benner for making the yard more beautiful and historically accurate. Thanks to Jay Robinson for recording videos and sharing them on social media ( check out his YouTube channel ). And also a special thank you to Chris Treon for providing firewood, putting up the tent, making repairs, and donating needed items.
