ORRRC Ghost 'n Goblin 5k The Ghost 'n Goblin 5k, presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, is a fun & festive Halloween-themed 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk! Come out and join us!

COURSE: Out & back course. Race starts & finishes at the Nutter Center with a turnaround near Rockafield House & Cemetery . Course map available at www.daytongng.org

SHIRTS: This year's adult sized shirts are a super-soft tri-blend long-sleeve T available in sizes small-4XL. Youth shirts are 100% cotton in sizes YXS-YXL. Register by October 11, 2022 to guarantee your shirt.

9/01-9/20: $30 adults/ $27 kids

Costume judging and awards for 10 different categories. RACE AWARDS: Trophies to the Top 3 Male & Female Winners. Awards to the Top Male & Female in Age Categories (9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+)

SCORING
All participants will be issued a disposable timing chip on the back of their race number. Participants are responsible for wearing their number. NO NUMBER-NO RESULTS-NO AWARDS.

To our runners & walkers, we hope you had a wonderful night! Maybe this was your first 5K. Maybe you just enjoy a good Halloween race & the chance to dress up. Or maybe it was a fun family night. Whatever your reason for joining us, THANK YOU. We hope you’ll run with us again next year!

Here are a few race day reminders. Full details about the race day schedule can be found at https://www.daytongng.org/packet

Packet Pickup is 12:30PM – 5:45PM on *RACE DAY ONLY* at Sinclair Community College – Centerville Campus, 5800 Clyo Rd, Centerville, OH 45459. Come to the gym on the west side of the building for your bib & swag. Avoid the rush & get your packet early!

You can pick up for family and/or friends. To avoid confusion, please be sure they know you have their bib & swag.

Parking is plentiful at Sinclair, but if the lot is full or you arrive after 5:45, overflow parking is available at St. Francis Church to the east of Sinclair.

Race Night Schedule:
5:45PM – Recommended “Arrive-Before” Time
5:45PM – Costume Contest
6:00PM – Roads/Course & Parking Closed
6:10PM – Announcements & Anthem
6:15PM – Wave A Starts
6:20-25PM – Wave B & C Start
Approx. 7:15-7:30PM – Race Awards & Prizes back in the gym

Race night is Tuesday October 28th. While we don't serve lasagna (sorry Garfield), we will have pizza & other treats waiting for you after you finish your race. And be sure to get those costumes ready for the pre-race costume contest.
