Meet a very special boy who is searching for a patient and understanding forever home.
For most of his life, he lived with a senior owner and had very little exposure to the outside world. When his owner passed away, his entire life changed overnight. He suddenly found himself navigating new people, new environments, and new experiences he had never been taught how to handle.
The good news? He has made incredible progress. He is learning to coexist with other dogs and has exceeded our expectations in that area. With proper introductions and guidance, he continues to grow in confidence every day.
Where he still struggles is with new situations. Walks, unfamiliar environments, and exciting activities can become overwhelming for him. When he gets overstimulated, he has difficulty regulating his excitement and can make poor choices. Because of this, he needs a home that understands his limitations and is committed to helping him continue learning at his own pace.
This sweet boy isn’t looking for perfection, he’s looking for patience. He needs a family willing to provide structure, consistency, and gentle guidance while celebrating the small victories along the way.

Kimmel has also went through training and as you can see by his video, he did great. With the right family we feel he will continue to thrive. ❤️
