What happens when love, advocacy, community, and purpose all come together in one place? You get a day like this. ❤️

Our 8th Annual Sickle Cell Picnic was more than an event, it was a reminder that our warriors and families are never fighting alone. From laughter and fellowship to education, healing, and celebration, every moment reflected the heart of what ASAP stands for: community, support, awareness, advocacy, and hope.

This picnic was created so sickle cell families could have a safe space to breathe, connect, smile, and simply enjoy life together without having to explain their pain. Seeing our warriors laughing, our caregivers resting, our children playing, and our families embracing one another reminded us exactly why this work matters.

This year carried even greater meaning as we celebrated a historic victory for the sickle cell community in Florida. After years of advocacy, prayers, meetings, tears, and persistence, we witnessed change happen for our warriors. That victory belongs to every family who kept fighting beside us.

To our sponsors, speakers, volunteers, vendors, supporters, and every family who attended thank you for helping us create a day filled with love, impact, and unforgettable memories. Your support continues to help us serve and uplift the sickle cell community in powerful ways.

Special thanks to all of our sponsors and community partners who poured into this event and helped make this vision possible. We appreciate every contribution, every helping hand, and every act of kindness shown to our warriors and families.

Together, we are changing lives.
Together, we are creating impact.
Together, we continue to soar. ❤️🩸

Four years.

Four years of advocacy.
Four years of showing up.
Four years of fighting for a community that refuses to be overlooked.

On April 18th at our 8th Annual Sickle Cell Family Picnic, those tears weren’t just emotion… they were evidence. Evidence that the fight was worth it. Evidence that every voice, every meeting, every “no” we turned into a “yes” led to THIS moment.

With Representative Felicia Robinson and Senator Shevrin Jones standing and fighting with us, we witnessed something powerful; victory for our sickle cell warriors across the state of Florida.

These weren’t just tears. No, they were tears of triumph.
Because the battle wasn’t just fought, it was WON.

To our warriors: this was always for you.
To Team ASAP: your dedication made history.
To every supporter who believed, shared, showed up, and stood in the gap, this victory belongs to you too.

This is what resilience looks like.
This is what purpose looks like.
This is what happens when a community refuses to give up.
