We had a great time at the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma’s Winter Gathering! It was wonderful visiting with guests and sharing updates on our new projects, connecting with partners, and spending time with tribal citizens.

The excitement around our upcoming children’s book project was contagious. So many people were eager to learn how much these books will mean for families and young readers. Link in our bio to learn more and support our work!

aašitehkawaataawi ‘let’s meet’ MHF Vice Chair Amehkoonsihkwa Kelli Huth!

Amehkoonsihkwa is a citizen of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and is passionate about supporting cultural education and strengthening connections between the Myaamia community and the public: “Over the past several years, I have talked with many people, especially in Indiana, who are interested in learning more about the history and the current cultural revitalization of the Myaamiaki (Miami people).
