What an unforgettable night together!
There were tears, laughter, full hearts, and full bellies as we enjoyed pizza, popcorn, candy, and snacks with one another. But beyond the fun and fellowship, we spent time reflecting on the powerful message of the film and encouraging one another in God’s Word.
One of the greatest reminders from the movie is that God is with us through every fire and every storm. Even when life doesn’t unfold the way we hoped, prayed, or planned, His faithfulness never changes.
Just like the message in MercyMe’s song “Even If,” our faith is not based on the outcome we desire, but on the unchanging character of God. He remains good, He remains present, and He remains faithful.
It also reminded us of Daniel’s friends in the fiery furnace. God didn’t keep them from the fire, He walked with them through it. And in the same way, He promises to never leave or forsake us.
Thank you to everyone who came and made this night so special. We can’t wait to see you at our next youth gathering! ❤️
¡Qué noche tan inolvidable vivimos juntos!
Hubo lágrimas, risas, corazones llenos y también estómagos llenos mientras disfrutábamos de pizza, palomitas, dulces y muchos bocadillos. Pero más allá de compartir una buena película, tuvimos un tiempo especial para reflexionar sobre su poderoso mensaje y edificarnos unos a otros en la Palabra de Dios.
Uno de los mayores recordatorios de la película es que Dios está con nosotros en medio del fuego y en medio de las tormentas. Aun cuando las cosas no suceden como esperábamos, orábamos o planeábamos, Su fidelidad nunca cambia.
Así como dice la canción “Even If” de MercyMe, nuestra fe no depende del resultado que deseamos, sino del carácter inmutable de Dios. Él sigue siendo bueno, sigue estando con nosotros y sigue siendo fiel.
También recordamos la historia de los amigos de Daniel en el horno de fuego. Dios no los libró del fuego, pero caminó con ellos en medio de él. De la misma manera, Él promete nunca dejarnos ni abandonarnos.
¡Gracias a todos los que nos acompañaron e hicieron de esta noche un tiempo tan especial! ¡Nos vemos en la próxima reunión de jóvenes! ❤️
