Hi just a reminder that our Sept. guild meeting is Friday the 4th. The fat quarter this month is pink.

Sad news for our guild. Kay Darr pasted away on Thursday August the 6th 2026. Kay was a wonderful lady and she will be greatly missed. Kay will always be in our hearts. Love you Miss Kay!

Calico Quilters August 7th 2026 guild meeting. Julie Porter presented her beautiful quilts and gave a demo on using her applique technique. Julie did a fantastic presentation and we all enjoyed her very much. You can find Julie at FARMHOUSECOTTONS.COM and she is also on Facebook.
Some of the members shared their wonderful projects with us.
All the churn dash challenge blocks have been turned in and we will be getting them handed out at the Oct. meeting. Thank everyone who participated in making them.
Our next meeting is Sept. 4th. Please invite a friend to join us and bring your show and share projects.
The fat quarter color for next month is Pink!

August 7, 2026 is the date for our monthly Calico Quilters Guild meeting. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. The meeting location is: New Hope Christian Church, 2020 E Rockdale Blvd, Miami, OK 74354. Julie Porter, will be our guest speaker tonight. Everyone is welcome & bring a friend.

July 2026 Guild Meeting. Erica Plank came to our meeting and presented a trunk show and we had the opportunity to purchase some of her wonderful patterns. Her pattern company is Unseen Hands. You can find her on Facebook. Hopefully we can have her back for members to have the opportunity to take one of her classes.
Glenna brought some wonderful fabric that was donated to the guild. There was a awesome selection to choose from and we appreciate it sew much.

Calico Quilters Guild May 1st meeting. Congratulations to Delories for being our featured Quilter. She has some amazing quilts and thanks for sharing them with us. Also thanks to everyone who brought their "Show and Share" projects. See you in June!

This is the CQG 2026 Rt 66 Opportunity Quilt. The quilt will be on display at the Ottawa County Arts Festival from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on April 25, 2026 in Downtown Miami, OK for everyone to see and have an opportunity to win. The drawing for the winner of this quilt will be at our December 4, 2026 CQG meeting. It is also on display at the Cotton Pickin' Quilt shop in N Miami, OK. The quilt was made and donated by CQG President - Marcia Huckabee.
