At MCI/Baptist, a young patient in treatment has been having a hard time finding foods she enjoys, but Takis are always a yes. 💚

After hearing from the Child Life team, Sofia’s Hope sent a variety pack of her favorite snacks, helping make long clinic days a little easier and one less thing for the family to worry about. 🎗️

💚📚 Thank You, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School! 📚💚

A heartfelt thank you to the administration at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School for inviting our president to speak about Sofia’s Hope, our mission, programs, and Sofia’s inspiring story. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the impact of our work and the importance of supporting children battling cancer with their 6th grade students.

We are also incredibly grateful to the students and their families for their generosity in collecting items and assembling Easter gift bags for our patients. These thoughtful gifts will be distributed by Child Life specialists to bring smiles and a little extra joy to children in the hospital this spring. 🐣🎁

Patients in bone marrow transplant (BMT) often endure hospital stays lasting weeks or even months. Roku devices help child life specialists provide comfort, entertainment, and a sense of normalcy during this difficult time.

When Holtz Children’s Hospital had only two Roku devices for its seven-bed BMT and hem/onc units, Sofia’s Hope stepped in to provide seven new devices, ensuring every patient has access to this important source of comfort.
