Miami Southridge Alumni Association MSAA aims to support and preserve the school’s level of excellence and pride in its standards of academics, athletics, achievement, & community service.

The MIAMI SOUTHRIDGE HIGH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION aims to support and preserve the high school’s level of excellence and pride in its standards of academics, athletics, achievement, and community service. This will be accomplished through:
• Providing scholarships;
• Maintaining relationships with alumni and ensuring alumni have current knowledge of activities at the high school (via the development

of a web site);
• Financially supporting educational instruction;
• Financially supporting athletics and activities;
• Encouraging alumni and parental presence on campus;
• Developing the historical archives of the school as a source of pride for students; and
• Developing a mentorship program between alumni and students
The Club will be developed through the following action steps:
• Identify local Southridge alumni to be part of the organizing board (especially alumni who were active in student government, academic and special interest clubs, and sports);
• Identify Southridge alumni across the country to become inaugural members;
• Host an alumni kickoff party/reception;
• Develop a listing of alumni (excelling in various professions) as a promotional boost;
• Identify former teachers and faculty as alumni boosters;
• Set a membership goal for the foundation of the budget
• Develop an annual signature/fundraising event

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved English teacher, Ms. Judy Blanchard. 💔

Ms. Blanchard was more than just a teacher, she was a mentor, a cheerleader, and a guiding light to countless students throughout her years at Southridge. Her passion for literature and writing was matched only by her love for her students, and she touched so many lives with her kindness, wisdom, and dedication.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone she taught, inspired, and believed in. She was truly a Spartan through and through, and she will be deeply missed by all of us.

Hey Spartans!
Remember screaming “One – We are the Spartans” and “Lean, lean, lean, lean” until your voice cracked, while rocking our signature red, black and silver, under the Friday Night Lights? Our current cheer squad wants to carry that same Spartan spirit, but first we must keep them in matching uniforms!

One, little $5 or $10 donation from every alum on this page can save the day! Do the math, if each of us coughs up a latte’s worth, they will crush their goal before you can rewind a mixtape with a pencil. 📼✏️

The deadline to order uniforms to have for our first game is fast appoaching. After that, the fundraising megaphone goes silent, and the squad starts sewing their own uniforms (don’t make us do it).

Drop $5 or $10, tag your old locker buddy, and show these kids what “Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan” really means! ❤️🖤🩶
