Clean Water…Living Water Update: Sustainability. OBOV’s top priority is sustainability — ensuring the clean water systems we install continue serving communities year after year. Sustainability requires dedicated in-country teams who perform regular maintenance and periodic filter changes. Every time we change clogged, depleted filters, it has the same impact as the initial installation of the water system.

OBOV has nearly 300 water systems in service across countries including Haiti, Guatemala, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Tanzania, and Togo. They are installed at churches, schools, orphanages, hospitals, and community water stations and the majority have generated hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons of clean water.

We’re excited to share the latest examples of OBOV’s commitment to sustainability. In Guatemala, David Albizures performed system maintenance and filter changes at 25% of our 70 installed water systems in 3 days this past week. And in Haiti, Loubert Turenne, Makendy Paul, Isaiah Lapointe and their teams visited each of OBOV’s 35 solar-powered village water stations. They changed filters and interfaced with community leaders to make sure each project is meeting the water needs of the population adequately.

We praise God for these committed leaders who work faithfully to keep clean water flowing year after year. Their dedication brings lasting impact and opens ongoing opportunities to share the love of Christ.

As always, thank you for supporting OBOV. Your prayers and support make this sustainable ministry possible. If you feel led to partner with us in bringing clean water and hope to more communities, please consider donating at www.oneballonevillage.com/donate. God bless you!

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Cuba. Giant Milestone! OBOV has now completed its 90th clean water project in Cuba!

This latest system was installed by our dedicated in-country leader Mayito Montoya at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in southern Guantánamo for Pastor is Esmundo Blanco Fuente and the community.

You can see in the special video message how excited and thankful the church and community are — they are already enthusiastically enjoying clean, abundant water! Moments like these make all the hard work worthwhile.

We praise God for this remarkable milestone of 90 water systems in Cuba and for the faithful service of Mayito, Pastor Esmundo, and all our in-country partners who continue to serve their people with excellence despite difficult conditions. Every new system brings physical healing and opens doors for the living water of Christ.

Thank you for supporting OBOV through your prayers and generosity. Your partnership has helped make this 90th project — and all the others — possible. God bless you!

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Cuba. Praise the Lord! OBOV’s good friend Alex Argota has installed another new water system — this one at Resurrection Methodist Church in Holguín for Pastor Fernando. This marks Alex’s 5th water system installation in the past 6 months — an incredible pace of faithful service!

Water in Cuba is as badly contaminated as anywhere OBOV works, and the Cuban people are suffering greatly under the current economic collapse. That makes every new clean water system even more vital and life-changing for the families who now have access to safe drinking water.

Alex and Pastor Fernando have recorded a beautiful video message of thanks to all OBOV supporters. We are so moved by their gratitude and encouraged by their strong faith in the midst of difficult circumstances.

We praise God for Alex’s dedication, for Pastor Fernando’s leadership, and for the way clean water continues to open doors for ministry and hope across Cuba.

Thank you for supporting OBOV through your prayers and generous support. Your partnership is making a real and lasting difference in the lives of precious people in Cuba. God bless you!

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Haiti. Our team proved this week that sometimes water system maintenance is quite complicated! In-country leaders Loubert Turenne and Makendy Paul, along with their dedicated team including Djouly and African, recently completed a major upgrade at the Roche Blanche solar-powered water station.

This station was originally established by OBOV in 2014 and has faithfully served several thousand people in the area. Over the years, it has produced over 19 million gallons of clean water — a tremendous testimony of God’s provision!

This week, the team replaced the original solar pump that had burned out with a powerful new 1,500 watt, 2 HP pump and installed 4 new, 625 watt solar panels. The results are excellent — the system is now cranking out over 10 gallons of clean water per minute!

We are so grateful for Loubert, Makendy, Djouly, African and the entire team for their hard work and commitment to keeping this vital water station running strong for the community.

Praise the Lord for this successful upgrade and for the many years of faithful service this station has already given.

Thank you for supporting OBOV through your prayers and generous support. Your partnership helps us not only install new systems, but also maintain and improve them for the long term. God bless you!

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Cuba. Praise the Lord! This week, OBOV completed its 24th and 25th clean water projects of 2026 (in 5 countries)! Both were installed in Cuba, the first at Mojica Baptist Church in Mariel by the pastor Ariel Rodriguez. This new system serves a population of nearly 4,000 people in the area with clean, safe drinking water.

The second system was installed by OBOV’s good friend Alex Argota at Camarones Methodist Church in the city of Holguín. This marks Alex’s 4th water system installation in Holguín — a wonderful testimony of his faithful and ongoing service.

We are so grateful for Ariel, Alex, and all our dedicated in-country partners who continue to serve their communities with excellence. Each new system is an answer to prayer and brings both physical refreshment and spiritual hope.

Praise the Lord for these two new installations and for the steady progress we are seeing across Cuba!
Thank you for standing with OBOV through your prayers and generous support. Your partnership makes these life-changing projects possible.
God bless you!

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Guantanamo. Sometimes water system maintenance turns out to be much more involved than expected!

In July of 2024, the joint OBOV / Bay Hope Church mission team installed a water system and storage tank in the rural village of Banito, Guantanamo. Since then, the church has been faithfully growing and delivering clean water to the community every day.

During recent renovations to the church, the leaders decided to build a taller, permanent concrete stand for the tank and create space underneath to mount the water system. However, once the new elevated stand was completed, they discovered that the city water pressure was not strong enough to reach the higher tank.

Thanks to the generous support of OBOV donors, we were able to provide the funds for our in-country leader Mayito Montoya to completely remove, reinstall, and relocate the water system and storage tank. He also installed a booster pump to solve the pressure issue.

The pastors featured in the video and the members of the village wanted us to share their heartfelt thanks to all OBOV supporters. Your faithfulness makes it possible to not only install new systems, but to maintain and improve them so they continue serving communities for years to come.

We praise God for this church’s commitment to their village and for every partner who helps overcome challenges like this one.

Thank you for standing with OBOV. Your prayers and generosity are truly making a lasting difference. God bless you! 💧🙏

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Haiti. We are grateful to share the completion of another 100% solar-powered community water station in Haiti—this time in the village of Vigne, located in the Arcahaie region.

Led by our dedicated in-country leader, Isaiah Lapointe, this project is already impacting a community of nearly 15,000 people who previously had no reliable source of clean water. Prior to this installation, many families were forced to collect water from contaminated rainwater run-off ditches—putting their health at constant risk. What an incredible testimony of God’s provision!

This project also reflects the strength of our partnership model. The local community took the lead in constructing a 20,000-gallon cistern, demonstrating their commitment and ownership of the system. OBOV then came alongside them by providing the solar pump, panels, wiring, piping, and water filtration system—bringing the entire project together.

Today, this system is producing more than 10 gallons per minute of clean, filtered water—providing a consistent and sustainable source of safe drinking water for the entire village.

We praise God for Isaiah’s faithful leadership, for the partnership with the people of Vigne, and for the thousands of lives that will be impacted through access to clean water.

Access to clean water is transforming daily life in this community—improving health, restoring dignity, and opening new doors to share the hope of Christ in a place that has long gone without such basic resources.

Thank you for continuing to stand with One Ball One Village through your prayers and generosity. Your support helps bring lasting change to communities like Vigne.

God bless you! 💧🙏

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Guatemala. What a giant milestone for our work in Guatemala! Our dedicated in-country leader David Albizures has done it again this month — installing new community water systems at 3 churches, bringing OBOV’s total water system count in the country to 70! David also performed maintenance on 10 existing water systems, ensuring that families continue to have reliable, safe drinking water year after year.

Here’s what the pastors at the three new sites shared with David:

1. Chichochoc: “This water purification filter will be approximately for 200 people from the church and more than 3000 people from the community. It will be a great blessing to avoid stomach and viral diseases. Glory to God for this precious gift that God gives us through One Ball One Village, and we will use it faithfully to evangelize our community. Thank you very much.”

2. Chajxucub: “More than 900 people will benefit through this filter, because for us it is a community development since it will bring health to our community and that raises the name of God in this place. We are very grateful because it seems that we are a forgotten village but with this filter God shows us his love and compassion.”

3. San Marcos neighborhood: “We are a church that loves children and the community. We are sure that this is a blessing from God that will benefit more than 2000 people who do not have access to clean water. God has answered our prayer — we had prayed for a long time for this filter. And Glory to God for One Ball One Village.”

These powerful testimonies remind us why we do this work: clean water brings health, hope, and opens doors to share the love of Christ in communities that have waited and prayed for years. We praise God for David’s faithful service, for this milestone of 70 water systems in Guatemala, and for the way He continues to provide through your prayers and support.

Thank you for standing with OBOV. Your generosity makes these life-changing projects possible.
God bless you! 💧🙏

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Haiti. We are thrilled to share that OBOV has now installed its 36th 100% solar-powered community water station in Haiti — this time at St. Paul’s School in downtown Arcahaie. This new water station is already blessing 1,300 students at the school as well as thousands of residents in the surrounding community.

Clean, safe drinking water is now readily available right in the heart of town, thanks to solar power that keeps the system running reliably even when electricity is scarce.

Leading this work in Arcahaie is our dedicated in-country leader Isaiah Lapointe, who also runs our fully functional eye clinic. Isaiah and his team are treating hundreds of patients each month, bringing both physical healing and the love of Christ to the people of Arcahaie.

What a beautiful picture of holistic ministry — meeting practical needs for clean water while also caring for eyes and hearts in the same community. We praise God for Isaiah’s faithful service and for this important solar-powered water station!

Thank you for standing with OBOV through your prayers and generous support. Your partnership makes it possible to bring clean water and hope to more communities year after year. God bless you! 💧🙏

Clean Water…Living Water Update: Cuba. The suffering of the Cuban people is nowhere more evident than in its badly contaminated water supply. This is the 2nd of 2 back-to-back posts today which highlight the important mission of OBOV and the incredible work of our in-country leader Mario (“Mayito”) Montoya.

In successive days this week, Mayito installed water systems at 2 churches in Guantanamo where the people suffer with all sorts of water-borne illnesses. These are OBOV’s 19th and 20th water system installations of 2026 and now thousands of people have access to safe drinking water! Praise the Lord!

More important is the fact that each water system gives the pastor a tool to improve the health of the population as well as share the Living Water Gospel message of Jesus.

Please take a moment to hear the message from each pastor to OBOV supporters everywhere. God bless you!
